Aviation Career Education (ACE) Sponsorship Program

L-3 Communications Integrated Systems and Texas State Technical College are teaming up to recruit Central Texas high school graduates into the TSTC Aviation Maintenance Program.

The Aviation Career Education (ACE) Sponsorship Program is a six-semester curriculum in which participants receive Aviation Maintenance Certification from TSTC. This program provides students the necessary skills to become Aircraft Modification Technicians.

Benefits of the ACE program include:

Eligibility to apply for part-time employment at L-3 during the first three semesters
Part-time employment at L-3 during your fourth through sixth semester, if requirement exist
Paid program: tuition and fees paid by L-3 upon satisfactory progress in the program
- Reimbursed for first three semesters in the fourth semester of the program
- Company directly pays TSTC for fourth through sixth semester

This certification also allows the student to test for their Airframe and Powerplant License with the Federal Aviation Administration. This license can open the door to a rewarding career in aviation.

Upon completion of the program, participants must work for L-3 for a minimum of two years, if positions are available. If you are interested and wish to apply please download the Application Packet.
