Effective and accountable institutions develop an appropriate mission statement and demonstrate accomplishment of the ideals stated within that mission. Texas State Technical College’s (TSTC) Mission Statement and Expanded Statement of Purpose provide guidance for administrative decisions regarding the overall direction of the institution; provide direction for planning, operating and evaluating each of the college’s departments and programs; and establishes general guidelines for the process of assessing and improving institutional accreditation.
