(MARSHALL, Texas) – Cade Eliason and Emilio Lopez, two recruiting specialists for Liberty Energy, a North American energy industry service provider, recently were invited to speak to 39 Diesel Equipment Technology students at Texas State Technical College’s Marshall campus.
“We are the best at what we do, and that’s because we bring in the best to be a part of our team,” Eliason told the students.
Eliason and Lopez delivered a thorough presentation, featuring testimonial videos from some of Liberty Energy’s employees and an in-depth explanation of fracking.
“We’re going to train you,” Eliason said. “Every day is going to be a continued education, and we’re going to be patient with you. If you’ve got the compassion, the drive, the work ethic, the attitude, (then) the sky’s the limit with Liberty.”
Eliason and Lopez explained that a graduate of TSTC’s Diesel Equipment Technology program would start as a maintenance technician I at Liberty Energy, earning $26 an hour, plus overtime and benefits. They also emphasized the company’s family-oriented atmosphere and commitment to community service, which has remained intact even after the company doubled in size a few years prior.
“We’re confident that you’re going to enjoy being with Liberty, and we’re confident you’re going to want to stay with Liberty,” Eliason said.
TSTC Diesel Equipment Technology student Grant Solomon was drawn to Liberty Energy’s family-oriented environment and plans to apply to the company in the near future.
“For TSTC to bring people out here and expose the students to (companies) like this is awesome,” he said. “It gives us the opportunity to find places that sound interesting and helps us find stuff that we want to do.”
