In Industrial Systems, you will learn how systems work together in a facility. You’ll also gain a better understanding of mechanical and electrical principles and apply them to troubleshoot and design highly efficient systems. You will learn:

  • Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programming, software and installation
  • Electrical design and repair
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Welding
  • Pipefitting
  • Compressors, motors, and pump repair

Degree Plans

Students are required to enroll in a First-Year Seminar course, TSTC 1102 Professional Skills, in their first semester attending TSTC unless they have completed more than 24 credit hours.
