Advocacy & Resource Center
The Advocacy & Resource Center (ARC) is designed to assist students with nonacademic barriers and help them to get back on the path toward graduation.
Mental Health Resources
TSTC offers mental health and other assistance to students through the counseling office located on their campus. Regardless of what you share and what you do, our counselors are on your side.
Courtesy Services
Run into a snag? Get help with:
- Safety escorts
- Unlocking your vehicle
- Power boosts

Library Services
Library services and resources available to all TSTC students and employees include:
- Access to electronic books, journals, magazines, eAudio and streaming video.
- Trained staff available to help with locating and using library materials.
- Online library instruction, tutorials and events.
- Reference assistance provided through email, chat and text messaging.
Tutoring
We care about your success from your first semester to your last. Does one of your courses have you feeling lost? Stuck and not sure what to do? Get help with both academic and technical courses:
- Understanding concepts and skills
- Improving your grades
- Tips for studying effectively
- Tutors are available online and on some campuses in-person!
Sign up for our peer tutoring program, where you will be paired with an upper-level student who has successfully completed the class and is a trained tutor.
Access & Learning Accommodations
The Access & Learning Accommodations office works with students with disabilities to deliver services like:
- Extra time on tests, assignments and labs
- Note-taking services
- Readers for tests and other reasonable accommodations based upon receiving valid and professional documentations
- Sign language interpreters for the deaf and hard of hearing
CARE Team
Are you concerned about a student’s physical or mental health? Has a student disrupted your class or caused you to worry about future actions? Do you have a feeling something is wrong?
The Campus Assessment Response Education (CARE) team is here to help with threat assessment and behavioral intervention.
