(WACO, Texas) – Texas Gov. Greg Abbott recently reappointed two members of the Texas State Technical College Board of Regents and named a new member.
Continuing on the board are Dr. Tiffany Tremont, of New Braunfels, and Robert J. “Robb” Misso, III, of Cedar Park. The term for both board members will expire Aug. 31, 2029.
Dr. Tremont is president and chief executive officer of Silotech Group Inc. in San Antonio and an advisor for the University of Maryland Global Campus Industry Advisory Board. She works with workforce development initiatives in the Texas Workforce Commission’s We Hire Vets program and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Hire Our Heroes program. She is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Tremont currently serves as elected chair of the TSTC board.
Misso is vice president of global operations for CelLink Corp. in Georgetown. He is a contributing writer and member of the Forbes Business Development Council and a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and the John Maxwell Leadership Team. He is also a founding board member of the Austin Regional Manufacturers Association and member of the Council of Advocates at TSTC’s East Williamson County campus.
New to the board is Ron Rohrbacher, of League City, whose term will end Aug. 31, 2027.
Rohrbacher owns Rohrbacher Residential Construction Consulting LLC. He is active in the Texas Association of Builders, along with the Workforce Development Committee for the Greater Houston Builders Association and the Texas Association of Builders. He is also a member of the Industry-Based Certification Council of Texas.
The nine members of the TSTC Board of Regents serve six-year terms appointed by the governor. The group meets quarterly to enact policies and provide leadership for the college’s campuses across the state.
