Our Money-Back Guarantee (MBG) program reinforces our commitment to prepare and place highly skilled, technically competent students in the workforce. We are confident in the quality of our technical programs, that we are raising the bar by guaranteeing students will receive a job offer within six (6) months after graduating, or we will refund your tuition.
Currently our MBG program covers nine programs, beginning Fall 2025 semester, it will include all technical programs*.
You’ll have access to one-on-one career advising, job fairs, and employer connections, giving you a strong network and guidance throughout your job search.
By completing the HIRE 1100 course, you’ll gain essential skills such as résumé writing, interviewing, and job searching, all of which will help you stand out to employers.
If you meet all the program requirements and you still have not received a job offer within six months after graduating, you may be eligible to receive a full tuition refund—giving you peace of mind about your educational investment.
Work closely with career advisors to develop a personalized plan tailored to your employment goals, ensuring you have a clear path to success.
The program is designed to help you receive a job offer by equipping you with the skills, resources, and connections needed to stand out in the job market.

Only tuition payments made personally out of pocket by the student are eligible for a refund through TSTC’s Money-Back Guarantee program. Financial aid sources such as Pell Grants, tuition exemptions, and other third-party funding do not qualify.
If tuition was paid using student loans, any eligible refund will be returned directly to the lending agency. Similarly, if tuition was covered through Veterans Benefits, the refund will be issued to the appropriate government entity—either the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or the Department of Defense (DoD)—not to the student. If Hazlewood Act benefits were used, no tuition will be refunded; however, the hours will be credited back to the student’s remaining Hazlewood eligibility.
Students utilizing VA education benefits are eligible to participate in the MBG program. However, they are strongly encouraged to consult with TSTC’s Veteran Services Office prior to requesting a refund, as doing so may affect their VA stipends or housing allowances. The Veteran Services Office can provide guidance on any potential impacts.
Please note that the MBG program does not cover additional personal expenses, including but not limited to books, housing, tools, laptops, or other non-tuition-related costs.
Once a refund request is approved, TSTC will process the refund in accordance with institutional policies and notify the student regarding the expected timeline for disbursement.
