With a career in automation, you will troubleshoot, service, and fix computerized systems and control devices, including assembly and automated systems. These machines and systems are often used in industrial and manufacturing plants.

At TSTC, you will receive in-depth classroom instruction, followed by real-world, hands-on training in labs to gain the solid foundations necessary for a job in this high-tech field. Begin training in basic electrical concepts and motor control applications. You will then advance your skills to include Programmable Logic Controls, electromechanics, and troubleshooting.

Degree Plans

Students are required to enroll in a First-Year Seminar course, TSTC 1102 Professional Skills, in their first semester attending TSTC unless they have completed more than 24 credit hours.
