Making the world go round.
Logisticians are critical to the transportation of goods in a global economy.
It’s a logical choice.
Logisticians analyze and coordinate an organization’s supply chain - the system that moves a product from supplier to consumer. With the use of sophisticated software systems, you manage the entire life cycle of a product, which includes how a product is acquired, distributed, allocated and delivered.
Graduates of Logistics Technology work in nearly every industry. You can work in procurement, inventory management and supply chain management. The logistical world is fast paced, but employment opportunities for Logistics Managers are projected to grow 20 percent in Texas over the next seven years, faster than the average for all occupations. There are also great employment opportunities for logisticians in government and in the military.
Logistics Technology is being phased out and is pending SACSCOC approval for closure. Students are encouraged to contact their Enrollment Coach for more information.
