This program is only available at TSTC in Harlingen to students residing in the four counties of the Rio Grande Valley.
TSTC’s Academic Core Curriculum allows you to complete general education courses commonly required for transfer admission to four-year colleges and universities.
This program includes state-required academic classes like English, Math, and Political Science. You can earn a Certificate of Completion and transfer those credits to another college or university to continue your education.
Students are required to enroll in a First-Year Seminar course, TSTC 1101 College Success, in their first semester attending TSTC unless they have completed more than 24 credit hours.
