The Health Information Technology accreditor of Texas State Technical College is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for the associate degree in Health Information Technology has been reaffirmed through 2027. Degree Plans

Students are required to enroll in a First-Year Seminar course, TSTC 1102 Professional Skills, in their first semester attending TSTC unless they have completed more than 24 credit hours.
