You’re in a great place to build your career. Texas is the second largest employer of electromechanical technicians in the nation. When you enroll in our Electromechanical Technology program you will learn to design, repair, and service technical equipment.

You will study…

  • Control System Design and Repair
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming
  • Pump and Compressor Functions
  • Electrical Power and Theory

In addition, you will learn how to use supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA) and communication networks for smart-manufacturing operations. Join the crew of graduates working for top-notch companies like Chevron, GE and Texas Instruments.

Degree Plans

Students are required to enroll in a First-Year Seminar course, TSTC 1102 Professional Skills, in their first semester attending TSTC unless they have completed more than 24 credit hours.
